In winter, pictures of Teal (Anas crecca) are often very easy to take on the reserve.
Here is a small sample of pictures showcasing the diverse range of birds in the nature reserve. Even though they weren't all taken on site, they are representative of the various species that you are likely to spot on your visit. But in order to see all of them, you'll obviously have to come back during different seasons and hope for a bit of luck!

The Hen Harrier winters at the nature reserve, and is present from August to March. It flies ceaselessly above the meadows in search of small rodents and passerine birds.
